Introduction & intake

We begin with a personal introductory meeting. During this consultation, we'll listen to your wishes and needs, discuss your dental health, and take photos or x-rays if necessary. This gives us a complete picture of your situation.

Customized treatment plan

Based on the intake, we'll create a treatment plan tailored to your specific situation. Whether it involves regular checkups, preventive care, cosmetic treatments, or more complex procedures, we'll clearly explain the steps involved, what you can expect, and how long the process will take.

Implementation & aftercare

What are composite veneers?

These veneers are used to correct your teeth. They consist of a thin layer of filling material, the composite, applied directly to your teeth. This material is then custom-made to fit your teeth perfectly. The veneers are bonded to your existing teeth to completely address any cracks, discoloration, damage, or other issues. The veneers are placed by our experienced dentists, and the advantage is that minimal to no grinding is required on your existing teeth. This is all done in a single treatment, so you can quickly enjoy a new smile!

The alternative: porcelain veneers

In addition to composite veneers, we also place porcelain veneers. These are custom-made in our laboratory. This means that several appointments are often required for application. A porcelain veneer is then placed over your teeth. Porcelain veneers are often slightly more expensive than composite veneers, but they are also much more durable.

The biggest advantage of composite veneers is that grinding your teeth is almost never necessary. Your teeth remain completely intact. However, your teeth must be suitable for this. We will discuss all the possibilities during the consultation.

Cost of composite veneers

Besides their effectiveness, the cost of composite veneers is also important. It's very difficult for us to give you an estimate here. Every set of teeth is unique, and everyone has different complaints to address or wishes to fulfill. During the consultation, we'll carefully examine your teeth and your wishes. We'll always discuss the costs, so you'll never encounter any surprises. The complete treatment plan is developed during the consultation, allowing us to better estimate the costs. We can provide an average cost, but these may vary.

  • The costs for the intake interview are between €50 and €150, depending on the extent to which the treatment plan needs to be developed and the wishes.
  • The cost of taking x-rays is between €40-€150, depending on the amount.
  • Composite veneers cost between €90-€220 per tooth, depending on the adjustments required.

 

The costs of the intake and taking the initial X-rays are often covered by your health insurance if you have supplementary dental insurance. Always check with your health insurer directly.

 

Composite veneers on front teeth

Most patients choose to have only the front teeth fitted with composite veneers, as these are the teeth most visible. During the initial consultation, we will assess together how many teeth are visible when you smile. Based on this, we determine exactly how many composite veneers are needed. Do you desire a more extensive transformation? Then it is also possible to include more teeth in the treatment for a complete smile makeover with composite veneers. Whatever your choice, we always strive for the best-fitting and most beautiful result for you.

How does the intake process proceed?

Interview

During an intake appointment, the dentist (specialist) will examine the condition of your teeth. We use the latest techniques for this. We'll let you observe and discuss the options together. Naturally, we'll also assess your expectations.

Treatment plan / Budget

We create a customized treatment plan with an accompanying budget and, if necessary, propose various solutions. If authorization from your health insurer is required, we can also arrange that for you.

Planning and starting treatment

After you've approved the budget, we'll create a schedule. It's important that all appointments are scheduled in the correct order with the right practitioner. We'll also ask about your preferred days and times. After scheduling, we look forward to starting your treatment!

Alongside his career in motorsport, Jack has always been active as a dental implantologist. He studied dentistry in Amsterdam and obtained his PhD in 1992 at the then KU Nijmegen based on research into the treatment effects of immediate overdentures and conventional immediate dentures. CDC knows Jack from the past, where he enjoyed working with the team back then. As of October 1, 2025, he is making his return to CDC as Chief of Clinic. Giulio studied Dentistry in Madrid and graduated from the University Alfonso X El Sabio in 2015. After a short work experience, Giulio moved to the Netherlands and gained five years of work experience. Giulio also further specialized in Endodontics, Aesthetic Dentistry, Prosthetics and Surgery. Giulio works 50% at CDC and 50% in a Clinic in Lombardy (Italy).

Karen has been a dentist at CDC since 2001. After graduating from Utrecht University, she established her own practice in Zeist and later in Rotterdam. Her specialty is cosmetic/aesthetic dentistry. Joana comes from Portugal, where she successfully completed her university dental training. In 2021, Joana moved to the Netherlands with her boyfriend and has enjoyed working at CDC for years now. During his first years at CDC, he completed his dental technology degree at the DHTA in Utrecht. He's now been working at CDC for twelve years and has enjoyed working as the laboratory manager for the past four years. Four years ago, Coen successfully completed his Dentistry degree at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. This allows him to maintain interaction with patients, which he truly enjoys.

How long do composite veneers last?

On average, composite veneers last 4 to 8 years. They may discolor slightly over time. If they wear out or break, they can be easily repaired or replaced without damaging your teeth.

What can you eat with composite veneers?

In principle, you can eat and drink anything, but to keep the veneers as beautiful and strong as possible, a few measures can be taken. These include avoiding foods or drinks with added dyes, hard or sticky foods, and acidic foods. It's also important to maintain good oral hygiene.
